'Go Abstract' workshop @ The Real Junk Food Project, All Hallows' Cafe

We gathered together to explore the possibilities of creating a 'new' shape or a form and play around with it. We had fabulous chats with music flowing freely and exchanging information ranging from creative events, free swimming opportunities, to food, art and many more. Loads of questions about 'what is abstract art' and 'how do I draw' have been discussed.

It's been amazing to see varied people coming over and enjoying creating in a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere. I have been impressed with you all and your courage to explore. Please, do not stop!! You all have been great and inspirational! :-)

The works below are made by: Faith, Paige, Rysiu, Stefan, Danny, Wain and few more :-)

Updates&News

The next workshop:

'Go Abstract'

All welcome, drawing, painting and structure building. The workshop aims to introduce the idea of 'abstract', what it is and how we can explore it through our own creative processes.

19th of February, The Real Junk Food Project @ All Hallows' Cafe, Hyde Park, Leeds

:-)

'Cut & Paste' workshop

First session of the project was a very relaxed few hours of designing collages and getting to know some people as well as eating puddings and lunch made out of the food rescued from a waste.

The word about the workshops is now spreading and hopefully will reach far :-)
