Workshop at Leeds University with kids visiting for the day

Another successful workshop with kids at Leeds University. I prepared DIY stamps out of wood and random materials found around the house, the general idea was, the more random the better as it will create more unusual mark, plus kids can get inspired to produce their own tools for prints.

Plenty of artwork done. We also used my geometrical templates, kids did a great job joining the technique of printing with stamps and adding geometry to their composition.

'Design Your City' workshop in Ripon with Life with Art

The workshop aimed to execute large scale artwork and to encourage working collaboratively on a huge piece of paper. It was also a great opportunity to try new scale, sweeping mark making, freedom of space, and enjoyment of creating one piece with a whole group.

Materials used: Fabriano paper roll, pencils, felt pens, sharpies, crayons, inks, brushes and sponges.
